address bar problems

All of a sudden any new website address that I type into the address bar will
not work. I can reach anything in my favorites but any new web address that i
want to reach will not go thru when I hit Go or the enter key. Help!!!

Read the entire article. There are (user friendly) solutions which don't
involve editing the registry.
