I just switched over to Win2K from Win98. In 98 I had it
configured where if I typed a URL in the address bar on
the taskbar it would open in its own window. Real handy.
However, I can't get the same result in 2000 mainly cuz I
don't know how it was done in 98 either. I've search tip
sites and the windows site and windows help to no avail.
If any know how to make this happen please tell me. Thanks.

Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts".
