Address bar not displaying

My address bar has disappeared over night. I made sure
that it was selected under the view option, but it still
is not there. I unchecked it and re-checked the address
bar option and nothing works. I don't know of anything
else to do.

View>Toolbars>Address Bar. You might try checking Unlock Toolbar
(unchecking it, actually) and then check the option for the Address Bar.
Recheck Unlock Toolbar to lock it against changes.

Reset the toolbar setting from Registry using this fix:

[Close all browser windows and apply the .REG script]

Deletes the following registry key; Resets Toolbar, Addressbar positions to
defaults. Restores hidden/missing bars:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar
