My address bar suddenly disappeared and I can't get it
back. I made sure that it was selected under the view
menu and it still doesn't come up. Is there anything
else I can do?

unlock the toolbar
drag vertical line next to word 'address' to the left
lock the toolbar

Hi,

* Close all instances of Internet Explorer (Important) *

Download IE Addressbar fix from here:
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/reg/IEToolbar.reg

Deletes the following registry key; Resets Toolbar, Addressbar positions to
defaults. Restores hidden/missing bars:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar]

What have you tried?

Did you try this?

If you see the smallest piece of the Address Bar (usually the name)
then stretch the Address bar back to a normal size and move it if
necessary. If the Button Bar or some other bar is to the right of it,
you may want to move that to a different position first.

Don't forget to ensure "Lock the Toolbars" is unchecked in
View-Toolbars.
