Hi guys,
I have a XP pc. I have a few users. For some reason one of my users does not
have the ie address bar when you open ie. The other users are fine. I cannot
fugure out where this is controlled in the Administrative tools.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Right click the toolbar and make sure that Lock Toolbars is not checked and
that Address Bar is checked.
Grab the handle at the left end of each toolbar and drag them down. One of
them is probably hiding the Address bar.

If you see the smallest piece of the Address Bar (usually the name)
then stretch the Address bar back to a normal size and move it if
necessary. If the Button Bar or some other bar is to the right of it,
you may want to move that to a different position first.

Don't forget to ensure "Lock the Toolbars" is unchecked in
View-Toolbars.

A further fix:

"The Internet Explorer Address bar is missing"

You can get a .reg file that will do Method 2 here:

I looked at those options and the option to check the address bar is hidden.
If I logon to the pc with a different user the address bar shows back up. The
bar does not seem to be hidden on the screen.
