address bar issues - help pls!!

a few weeks ago, for no apparent reason, my internet
explorer stopped searching from the address bar as it
normally did [through the msn search engine] and started
searching through an msn look-a-like page called "ie-
search.com".

i've tried fixing it myself, i've tried looking round on
the net for a solution but alas i found none *crycrycry*

so now i make a plea to the ie6 boffins!! help me??
