Why when I try to search I can not access anything but
the web sites already saved in my favorites folder? When
clicking the icon on my deasktop (for the Internet
Explorer) the default home page comes up but when I try
to search in either the address bar as part of Internet
Explorer or search using the search bar provided by MSN
search (my homepage) nothing comes up but "the page
cannot be displayed". I have tried all of the possible
fixes listed on this page regarding the "detection of
settings" and yet nothing has worked. I have not
downloaded or installed anything onto my system that
could harm or disrupt any of my initial settings. I have
also spoken with the DELL Suport Center and that only
made the situation deteriorate greater than before. Hope
someone has the answer.
