I have been using 1e6 at my work pc and it autocompletes
the URL in the address bar. I cannot enable this on my
home pc. I can type the first few letters of the site at
home and then view the drop down, but IE6 at work fills
it in for me.
Any help would be appreciated.
Since you did not post necessary information such as the version of Windows
or IE you are using, I can only make a general suggestion. You might try the
following and see if it helps:
How to set Autocomplete for addresses in the Address Bar
In order to enable the Autocomplete, do the following:
Go to Tools | Internet Options | Click the Content tab. Click the button
that says Autocomplete. Check Web Addresses and all other items you want
used with Autocomplete. Click OK
On the General tab look for the section on History. Set the Day to keep
pages in history to how many days you want to keep pages in the History.
If these steps do not resolve your problem, please post back to this thread
with the details and any error messages.
