Is it possible to add new/different transitions and animations to the
PowerPoint 2003 program? (Since '07 didn't add any new ones, I don't see much
use in it.) If so, does anyone know where I can go to download some, even if
I have to pay for them? Thanks, Jarvis

Third party plug-ins such as OfficeOne provides you with new animations. Here
are some links which you helps enhance the current animations:

OfficeOne Animations adds over 50 sophisticated and subtle animation effects

CrystalGraphics PowerPlugs: Transitions - Add new transitions effects -

And if you are interested, here are two softwares that can completely
transform your presentation into 3D:

OfficeFX Instant effects - www.instanteffects.com
Serious Magic Ovation (Now Adobe) - http://www.adobe.com/products/ovation/

Shawn,

I was wondering if there are plans to incorporate new transitions from
within anytime soon rather then a 3rd party plug in?

As a power user working corporate events about once a week, I do not want to
have to keep working in Key Note just because it has "Cool Transitions". PPT
beats it hands down, but, I'm forced to use Key Note only because of those
aforementioned transitions.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Gary,

I agree that there are some very nice effects on the transitions used in
other products. However, for now the third party method is the only way to
go with PowerPoint.

As to the future, you should know that no one on MS's payroll answers
questions in this newsgroup and even if they did, they would probably not be
able to share their development plans until release.

Bill,

Thanks for getting back to me so fast. I guess I'll just have to wait to the
future to shut the smug KeyNote Fan boys up.

I just hope it's not a long wait!!!

Cheers!!
