Additional Priorities for Tasks?

I have seen posts that state that the only way to get more options for
task priorities other than high, normal and low, is to add a custom
field. I don't really know how to do that. Is there an add-in out
there that would help in this area? Thanks!
 
You can do an awful lot with Categories as well as Priority. If you're not
using Categories for Tasks, have a look at them.

I am definately using categories, but I am using that for other
purposes. I really don't want to combine the two purposes under the
categories.
 
If you want to learn about form design in Outlook, there's a newsgroup full
of people who can help you (up the corridor) at "program_forms".

Books written by the Outlook MVP's who are developers may be useful as well.
