Addition Error

If i type to A1, "r"(not quote) and B1 "1"(not quote), and C1 "=A1+B1"(not
quote), i'm taking an #Value error... How can i solve this issue?

Which result are you trying to achieve?

If you want a result of:-

r1

- then uses the following formula in cell C 1:-

=CONCATENATE(A1,B1)
