Hello,

I have a Win2000 AD environment... What's the proper way to add the XP SP2
firewall group policy objects to AD?

Thanks
Troy

Thanks Laura. After I do that, can I then modify the settings via one of my
Win2k domain controllers??? Or will I always have to use the XP workstation
with the console on it?

I'd recommend using the XP workstation just because GPMC is so much cooler
and easier to use. :-)

You'll still be able to use your 2000 server, but I recommend applying this
hotfix since some of the newer GPO entries will pop up an annoying error
message on a non-GPMC box:

You will only able to update the policy on an XP SP2 machine. This is by
design.

Regards.
