My office is now looking into the possibility of upgrading
to XP Pro from 2000 Pro. We have 150 workstations with
2000 Pro and 30 servers with 2000 Advance and Standard
Server installed.

When XP first came out we heard about a lot of bad things
that were happening when a XP laptop or workstation was
plugged into a pure 2000 network. We were not worried
about if this was true or not at the time, but now with
looking into a upgrade...

So, the question is what issues will we face if we start
adding XP Pro workstations in our 2000 network? A Master
Browser issue is one thing I remember.

Thanks for your time.

We have a mix of Windows 2000 Pro and Windows XP pro clients in a native
mode Windows 2000 AD domain. No problems here.
