if you are not wanting to connect the WAN side and are
only interested in Wireless access to your LAN, just
stack them with a patch cord.

What you want is called a "wireless access point". There are many such
available that will simply plug into your existing hardware and provide
wireless access. In addition, most wireless routers are capable of being
put into a mode where they only act as a wireless access point.

You just plug it into a port on your existing switch and do not configure the routing
function. You are using it as a wireless access point. HOWEVER keep in mind that this
can expose your whole network to wireless "war driving" so be sure to configure our
wireless device to use preshared key and encryption and if you have not purchased
yet, but a device and wireless network adapter that are "wifi certified" that can use
WPA which is much more secure than the older WEP encryption. Netgear is currently
running a special where you can buy a 802.11g router/card that are wifi certified for
$65 after rebates. --- Steve
