Could you provide more details of
exactly what you wish to accomplish?

BTW...in Timeline View you can drag
a copy of your video clip to the Audio/
Music track. Then you can mute the
audio on the Video track.

Pretty sure i have the same question as this guy.....lemme try to explain:

Lets say i want to make a movie with 4 video clips. In addition, i take
some audience sounds (i.e. 5 second applause) and i use that audio to
"transition" from one clip to another.

Everything is perfect...the sound of the applause starts just as clip 1 is
finishing and clip 2 is starting, clip 2 to clip 3, etc. HOWEVER...then i
decide that I need to insert a video clip in between clip 2 and clip 3.
Essentially, everything on the audio track (i.e. all the applause snippets)
will get shifted to the right by the length of the video i just inserted.

The question is, is it possible to add a video clip without shifting your
audio track to the right?
