Greetings all,
The other day I was putting a movie together and was advised that photo
story was full. I discontinued the story and burned a dvd. The dvd was only
half full. Is it possible to start another photo story and combine both
stories to fill a dvd? I hope my question makes sense.

If you have DVD authoring software you
could use each clip for a separate chapter.
And if you prefer to combine the clips...you
can do it with Movie Maker.

Import the clips into Movie Maker...drag them
to the timeline and save as follows:

To save as a .wmv movie file...
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next /
Tick...'Best Quality For My Computer'
Next/
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...

Also, you may find it useful to use
a custom profile:

Hi John,
Thanks so much for your reply. The movie I was referring to were photographs
that I was putting together in photo story 3. Photo story 3 indicated that it
was full and I could no longer add photographs. I had no choice but to
discontinue the program and save it. I had additional photographs to add to
the story...but don't know if there is a way to combine the two to make one
dvd.
You mentiomed Movie Maker.. Will that program hold more photo's and/or film?
I appreciate your reply very much.
thanks,
Greg

PhotoStory is great for working with still images...
Are you using version 3 or version 3.1?

BTW...PhotoStory 3 / 3.1 has an image limit of
300...even less if you use lots of motion effects
and transitions.

I just suggested Movie Maker because it can
combine your completed storys. And Movie
Maker can handle more images but imagine
how boring a slideshow is if it's too long.

Just create several smaller photostorys and
combine them with Movie maker.

Or as I originally stated...use the individual storys
as chapters in your DVD...then you won't need
to combine them.
