Adding Text

I have a column with values in each cell. I would like
to add a Text vale in front of each cell value as
follows:-

Value of Cell A10 = H10y1

what was the original value of cell A10?
as a workaround you may use a helper column (lets say column B) with a
formula like
="H" & A10 & "y1"
