I am trying to add 17 seconds on sound to our dancing group web site home
page. The reports, in fp show that when the sound is added I have a slow
page. The sound is a "wav" and the file is approx 2500KB. Is there any way of
reducing this without loosing the sound and what size file would prevent the
slow page

Convert to mp3

Thank you Thomas but there dosn't seem to be an option under the add
background sound in page properties to add an "mp3" file

Insert it as a wav file, then switch to HTML / Code view and change the file name or rename the file
then import the .mp3 version overwriting the old renamed .wav version.
