I printed out all the info. from PPT Tools...........it
still does not work.

Any other ideas??

Thanks.

go to the slide where the music file is

go to CUSTOM ANIMATION

click on the "MEDIA" item

the last tab on the left should be a multimedia setting
tab, make sure you've checked the "continue show" and
entered the correct number of slides for the show ...

i don't have 98 anymore but did have, and know that
although the actual wording may appear different, you
should get the gist of what instructions should be
followed - essentially, you have to tell PPt to animate
the media object to continue playing and not pause the
show for xyz number of slides. good luck!

PPT 97, you said earlier, right?

Here are the steps.

1. Insert/Movies and Sounds/Sound from File
2. Right-click the sound file and choose Custom Animation
3. Custom Animation should open on the Play Settings tab.
Click in the box next to "Play using animation order."
4. Below that, click "continue slide show."
5. In the "stop playing after" box, type 999
6. Click on the Timing tab
7. Click on Automatically
8. Leave the "0" in the "after XX seconds" box
9. Click OK
