Hi,

A couple of questions about signatures...

1) Is there any way to specify that some accounts don't use any signature at
all...? I have three newsgroup accounts, but only want to use a signature
for one of them - I don't want the other two to use the 'Default'
signature...

2) Is there any setting which will put the signature underneath the text of
a a reply (rather than above it) to avoid top-posting...?

Any assistance gratefully received.

Yeah...

Tools>Options>Signatute>Advanced

Tools>Options>Send>Include message in reply box ticked?

Yeah...

Tools>Options>Signature>Advanced

None of the accounts for which I don't want to use a signature is ticked,
yet they all use the Default signature anyway...
Tools>Options>Send>Include message in reply box ticked?

Yes it is... I want to include the text of the original message in my
reply - I just want the signature to appear beneath it, not above it, to
avoid top-posting...

It's certainly possible, for me it's a default.

Create a blank signature and select it for the no signature accounts.

Please can anyone advise me how to post a signature (name) at the bottom of my ordinary emails. If I go into INSERT there is a place for clicking on signatures, but it is greyed out. Business cards it also greyed out. If I click on TOOLS, there is no OPTIONS in that section. I am new to Vista and haven't found my way yet!! Thanks.

My mum had trouble with this earlier. The options section looks like this:

Options...

If you press on that button you will have a new window come up and there is
a tab labelled "Signatures."

After clicking on this tab, press new signature and enter the text/file you
would like as your signature.

Note:If you create a signature on Microsoft Word then copy and paste, it
will still work (Word has more options you could use in your signature.)

Hope this helped.
