adding signature erases all text in body of email !

Outlook 2003 allowed this, 2007 does not--the whole message gets erased when
I add a signature!
What's the workaround? Presently I have to select the text, hit control X,
then add the signature and control V to reinsert the text...kludgey at best!

That means you're typing your message in the signature area. Configure
Outlook to always add a signature, with the default being nothing more than ,
say, two hyphens, then make sure you enter your text above the signature.
