The knowledge based article explained how to do this
(Q196457)but it pertained to Outlook 2000 not 2002.I do
not have Services in my Tool's menu.
How do I put another person's calendar on my Outlook
Shortcut bar( of course I have permission to do this.
Please advise

Louis -

Get the other person to create an email to you and from their Outlook
Folders view, drag the folder in question into the email as an attachment.
When you receive the email, drag the shortcut attachment to your Desktop.
Then open your Outlook Bar to the My Shortcuts section and drag the shortcut
to it. (For some reason it doesn't want to do it directly from the email.)

Regards,

William Hudson

Are you accessing the other user's calendar via the Open Other User's Folder
function, or do you have that user's mailbox (including the calendar folder)
in your Folder List?

Dear Jocelyn,
The person did not want to have to use "other user's
folder". She just wanted to be able to put a another
user's calendar on the shortcut bar.

I do not think that person will give me access to their
mailbox, so I can drag the calendar to the Shortcut bar.
Do I need access to the mailbox?

Thank you so much for your response.

Louis

I don't know if William's solution will work or not -- Exchange is not my
specialty and I don't have a copy of it running here to test with. If his
suggestion doesn't work, the only way I know of to add a shortcut to another
user's folder on your own Outlook Bar is to have the mailbox and its
subfolders (the ones you have permission to see) added to your profile so
you can see them in your Folder List, and then you can create the shorcut
from the folder.
