I just got a new missle (computer), which I plan on implementing this
weekend.
I ALSO have an older hard drive, that is perfectly fine, although modest in
its capacity. Rather than use it for target practice, I thought I'd just
drop it in the new machine.
As it is already jumpered as a slave, is it the same as doing it on an older
machine, i.e. cabling it up to piggy back either the CD ROM or the other 1st
HDD as a slave??
Am I missing something, or being a bonehead (unknowingly) ? I guess this
drive is 3-4 years old. Is it even worth doing this, or am I asking for
heart-ache where it is not needed.
I do know that I would have to reformat it to NTFS.... no problem, I've
already burned all relevant files on it to a CD (from the OLD machine).
Anything I am not thinking of?
