Adding records with a form

Hello,

Does anyone know how to set up an Access 2003 form so that it adds a
new record to the end of a list?
When I try to add a new record it always puts it as record number 1,
and I want my records to go by date, so when it adds it as record
number 1 it is messing the entire order up (for example May 26 is now
before May 24, etc).
Does anyone have any tips on how to fix this? I'm still learning and I
can't find a solution anywhere.

Thanks!!

Record numbers are meaningless. When you look at the records, use
a query instead of browsing the table. That way, you can sort on any
order you like,

But when I look at the form they are all out of order :( so would it be
a better idea to view the form from a querie instead of having it show
from the table?
