It's obviously related to the RAM. When you buy RAM, it must be the
correct RAM for your motherboard, both in type and in amount of RAM
supported by the board. A good way of ensuring that you get the right
RAM is to either get it from the computer mftr. (or at least look up the
right RAM at their website so you can buy it elsewhere) or use Crucial's
memory selector tool. I usually buy RAM from Crucial because it is
high-quality and their prices are good. Buying "bargain" RAM is a mistake.

If you did research the RAM similarly before you bought it, then test
the RAM. I like Memtest86+ from

Of course, there is the possibility that you damaged your motherboard by
putting the RAM in wrong but in that case your computer probably
wouldn't boot at all.
