Adding PS2 to a PC

I was wondering if anyone knows someone who has built a PlayStation 2 into
their computer or know where information would be to do this? Thanks a lot.

That would be quite crazy/pointless! You talking about adding it to a
PC or just sticking the PS2 hardware into a PC case and somehow
modifying it to work with a normal IDE DVD-ROM drive and stuff.

Seriously, why?

It has been actually done before, and I mean by taking the components and
adding it in. Maximum PC had a guy in their issue once that combined all
three consoles into his PC. Also, I have been told that it was covered on
TechTV on how to do it, so I have been searching their archives.

As far as crazy or pointless, neither is really true because it is all in
what you want. In my case, I have a free PS2 that my friend gave me, so I
thought it would be decent to add it to my PC, since I don't like using the
TV and I hardly play games at all anyway, but when I do, how much nicer
would it be to turn to the PC?
