Adding properties to png files ?

I would like to add information to the properties of png files ( the default
file format for Digital Image pro ) through IE but it won't let me. Any ideas
on how this may be possible?

I don't think that's possible in IE with .png.
If you wish to edit in IE try saving as .tif or
..jpg.

However, you can edit Filename, Caption,
Description, Author, Date Taken, Time Taken,
Keywords, and add Flags and Ratings in
MS Digital Image Library. This info will be
stored in the Library Database and can
be accessed only in Digital Image Library.

I am aware of the capabilities for the other file formats and DIP's Suite
...perhaps you you could nudge MS about adding the file info ability for png
files since their main file format for DIP etc is png :)
