Adding printer

I have a HP deskjet 960c which works fine, but when I tried to install a Dell
540 Photo printer the 960c started to continuously feed paper printing @@> on
the top of each sheet. I had to uninstall the Dell and do a system restore to
get the 960c working properly again.
 
Both printers must be USB causing this situation. When printing make sure
the printer you want to print to is selected as the Default printer and the
power
