I need to add non-XP OS supported printer drivers to the driver.cab cabinet.
Could anyone tell me the correct way to do this?
Is it just a matter of copying all the driver files or..?

The reason I need to do this is the problem in an NT Domain environment
installing printers on XP pcs (non-trusted etc).
Right now I have to first install the printer driver as local administrator
which is not very convenient.
Apparently it will be fixed in SP2 of XP

hi,
Instead of adding files to divers.cab there is another of copying files
into the correct folders
Add a Dummy printer to the XP Machine
Go to printer properties--->Sharing-->Drivers -->Additonal Drivers and
the drivers for Non-XP OS Drivers
They will goto Appropriate Folders

Thanks looks a good option but still wondering if there's a way of adding to
drivers.cab so the printer(s) appears in the list
without actually having to install the driver. Any ideas appreciated.
