Was never here; where ever here is.
I have a 80GB drive that is presently a slave on an XP machine (FAT32). I
would like to make this drive the master and then install Windows 2000 Pro.
The drive has 6 partitions including the first (25GB) which has about 11GB
of data. (I have that data backed up on an external drive, but it takes
nearly three hours to transfer at USB1.1 speeds, so I would rather not have
to copy it again.) I have Partition Magic 8 if I need to mess with the
partitions.
One alternative is to attempt to set up a dual-boot on the present 40GB
Master drive, which is Win XP Home right now.
All input will be appreciated.
