Adding New HD to system to replace old HD

I need to install a new hard drive, copy my current HD
info including OS onto the new HD for future use when the
old one fails...Is there an easy way to do this with XP
Pro?

Hi Kevin,

Why not make a direct image of the hard drive using software like Partition
Magic 8.0 or Norton Ghost. This can copy the entire contents of the drive
including the MBR. I don`t know if it`s possible to do this using a
Microsoft Application but i`d use some third party drive imaging software.
