Hi

I recently got a BT Voyager 2000 modem/wireless router

I have broadband and it works fine on my PC which is
connected to the Voyager.

I want my Sony vaio Z1 with centrino chip to connect to
the PCs internet connection through wireleass connection.

In the systray of my sony it says I am connected to the
VOyager at 11mps with excellent strength signal.

However I con't connect to the internet still.

Can someone help? I've been trying for hours.

Also, I went to add the Vaio to a network wirelessly and
it all seemed to be going fine and gave me a startup disk
to run on my 2000 pc. However when I ran it it said that
only XP, 98 and me operating systems can run the newtowk
wizard!

Heeeelllpp!

Many thanks

David

Hi David,

You might want to double-check the following:
- Right click on My Network Places then Properties.
- Right click on Wireless Network Connection then Propeties.
- In Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), set Default Gateway to the IP of the
Voyager and Preferred DNS Server to your ISP's DNS address.
- Click on Ok.

Hope this helps.
