just save it to the root folder of your local web and republish or just
right click it and select publish selected file.
the favicon acts funny sometimes. thee is supposed to be an additional way
to make it show up for people. it looks like a css link but it's for the
favicon. I don't have the line of code close by.
I'm wonder if using this would improve the reliability.
Just import the .ico file to the root of your web. If you name it
"favicon.ico" you won't have to add any code at all.
Note that if you have already added your own website to your list of
favorites, you probably won't see your favicon in your own list and/or on
the address bar until you 1) delete the site from your list of favorites and
2) clear your temporary internet files. Then re-add the site to your
favorites.
it isn't there, see: http://www.aboutgbs.com/favicon.ico
also you may want to do something about those hover buttons as they're not
supported by all OS/ Browsers.
for the favicon you need it to be 16x16 pixels, you need to name it favicon
and you need to save it as a windows icon (.ico).
I see no link to your ico file in your header. Here's the code : <link
rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico"> make sure your file is in the root
directory of your site.
