Hi again. Can't quite figure out how this mailing works. Tried to answer
Sonia, but my mail got returned. This is wat I wanted to answer Sonia:
Thanks for the tip, Sonia, I'm going to try this and test it on my
neighbour's computer, who has no powerpoint installed on it. One question
left: my distribution map that will be burned onto cd contains the following
maps: audio, slsh (this map is where the slideshows are), data, viewer.
Should I put the files into the map 'audio' or should I put them exáctly in
the same map as the shows, so in the map 'slsh'?
Rebecca.

I'm going to take a guess and assume that by "map" you mean "folder" or
"directory"? Folder is the term that Windows uses, so that's the language I
speak. Put everything in a single folder. Your problems definitely sound
like they're occurring because you've got things spread around. Before you
think of distributing your presentation it's time to collect all of the
files you need into one folder along with the presentation. It doesn't
matter what you call it or where it is. Then open PowerPoint and open the
presentation and delete all of the links and re-link the files so that
PowerPoint knows to look in the same folder that contains the presentation.
Don't link to any file that isn't already in that folder. Once that's done,
save your presentation and move on to the steps to prepare for CD burning.
