Adding monitor colors

I recently installed W2K on my Systemax PC with a Compaq
151fs monitor. The settings for the display shows only an
option for 16 colors. I need at least 256 to install my
scanning software. How can I add color options? Thanks.

You need to install the appropriate drive for your video card. If a Win2K
driver wasn't supplied with your hardware, try the manufacturer's web
site.
