Adding Memory !!!

I added A new stick of memory ( 256 ). I cant get the
hardware wizard to reconize it. If anyone can help please
e-mail me. Thanks

You post here, you read here. This is a public newsgroup,
for all to share and benefit from. There have been several
posts in the past couple of weeks regarding problems
similar to yours. Make a little effort. Seek and you will
find.

It's absolutely essential that any new RAM module be compatible
with both the motherboard and any other RAM module(s) in the system.
Additionally, there are sometimes jumper switches on older
motherboards that need to be reset for the new RAM configuration.
Consult your motherboard's manual.

I think if you will look it shows disk space.

memory on your system, right click on C drive in My
Computer and select properties. It should show on the
general tab.

Nope. Right-click "My Computer" and selecting Properties is the same
as opening Control Panel - System - General.

Right-click a disk drive entry in My Computer and selecting Properties
shows the space on that drive.
