It isn't likely that the memory is the same, the old
computers are "old" and your new computer is "new" so the
old memory may be smaller, slower or even completely the
wrong type.
Memory goes into special slots, not the same as the slots
the add-in cards such as graphics or modems go into.
If you look at the web sites that have memory selectors,
such as
www.kingston.com or
www.crucial.com or
www.pny.com
for the make and models of the computers you have, you can
see if the memory used in each type is the same.
|I haven't opened up the old computers yet. I wanted to see
if it was
