I have a hardware RAID5 configuration and it is partioned into "C" and "D" with Windows. The dirve is set to basic now. I have recently added a 36GB hot pluggable drive to create more space on the server. The ServeRAID program from IBM sees the new drive and has been added to the array as far as it's concerned but Windows still sees the same size drive and partions as before. I have rebooted and still makes no difference. If I change from basic to dynamic will I then see the extra pace?
