Hello
I have recently installed my new windows xp. I am not happy with the very small list of fonts it has. Upon visiting the microsoft site of window xp it showed a better list having more fonts on it that I dont have. I also read its not downloadable from the microsoft site anymore.
I need as many fonts as I can get, how do I add these to my system? Do I have to go out and buy a font software
Please advise, I really didnt want to start buying unnecessary software and loading up unecessary stuff that may not be a good thing to bog up my computer. I have a pentium 4 with new empty harddrive so I have lots of room. I am an engraver so I would like a nice variety if possible of fonts
thanks soooooooooooo much for your time and trouble
.......chris.

The days when vendors were giving away fonts seem to have passed, but
fortunately at least one outlet allows you to obtain a good stock of fonts
without an expenditure that would be excessive for most users. See
http://www.softmaker.de/megafont_en.htm, where you can obtain 10,000 fonts
for $50, including all the important ones. You will have to figure out or
reasearch the real names, however, because of trademark laws, although
often the names sound similar.
