Adding Fields with + or - values

I have a question about adding fileds. I have 5 fields each one has a
differant + or - value. Example 1 I have now problems with. It gives the
correct total using the + or - value. My problem is Example 2. I need it to
get a total regardless of + or - values.

Example1:
FLD 1 = 2500.00
FLD 2 = 1200.00
FLD 3 = - 250.00
FLD 4 = -1000.00
FLD 5 = 500.00
Total = 2950.00

Example2:
FLD 1 = 2500.00
FLD 2 = 1200.00
FLD 3 = - 250.00
FLD 4 = -1000.00
FLD 5 = 500.00
Total = 5450.00

=Sum(Abs(MyField))
