I am getting some emails in excel format, and I cant open
them. can I download excel to windows XP?

no.....

You can Purchase excel as a stand-alone app, or as part of the MS Office
Suite.

Call your local, friendly software store.

Excel is not a part of Windows, it is a separate software product that must
be purchased.

You might try the 97/2000 excel viewer first:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...49-91DA-4110-8595-4A960D3E1C7C&displaylang=EN

If it views them, cool. But it won't let you edit them. You do have to buy
the full product to do that.

I'd better suggest to download a free Excel viewer from the Microsoft site.
I'm pretty sure MS provided free of charge any kind of Office file
format viewer for people not wanting to install a full-fledged app.

Verbal
