Hi There,

Can you help me to know how i can add an email address to the active
directory on windows 2000 by command line..
or if there is another way.

regards....

Well, actually this is NOT a DNS question, but an AD question, but I'll see
if I can help out here.

For Active Directory with Exchange installed, since this is an AD function
(and not Exchange), there are a couple of AD tools you can use that are
supplied by Microsoft by default in the operating system; CSVDE or LDIFDE.
They are both accessible from a command line. Run CSVDE or LDIFDE with a /?
to see samples and your options. Do a sample LDIFDE export (see the samples)
and see what the export file looks like.

There are other methods too such as by scripting. You can incorporate the
above tools in a script or you can visit:
www.technet.com and click on the scripting center on the left
or
http://cwashington.netreach.net where there are hundreds of sample scripts
you can scroll thru to download. I know there is at least one or two scripts
there that will do this.
