Adding computers to a domain

Hi,

Is there a way to prevent everyone from having the ability
to join computers to the domain?

seems to be the default setting in W2K.

Doesnt it ask you for a username and password with access rights to join the
domain?

You need to remove the authenticated users group from that user right in the
Domain Controllers Security Policy/security settings/local policies/user rights.
By default a user can add ten workstations to the domain. --- Steve
