Is there a way to add bulk members to a distribution list. Example: I have a
category called dealers (not what you think) I want to add all of them at
once versus looking up each person individually, with over two hundred
contact in this category it is painful.

you have two choices -
my preferred is a dynamic dl -

If you have the addresses in a delimited format see
http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2004/20041105.htm. Tip: if you don't
have them in a delimited file, create a custom view that displays just their
email addresses in Outlook. Select all (Ctrl+A) then copy and paste into the
DL form per the instructions at that url. (You may need to paste into
notepad, then copy from notepad to break OLE.)

Hi Diane,
I went to the link you stated below and couldn't understand the "tip". When
I selected a category, then went to the "Action" menu, most things are greyed
out. I am using BCM, the subject of this list I believe. However, the tip
almost works when I use just Outlook Contacts. I say almost because whilst I
can send a bulk email, I can't work our how to update a distribution list
with my selected category. Anyway, this doesn't solve my problem working with
Business Contacts in BCM.

My problem is that I wish to sent a bulk email once a month to a category
group of business contacts, and attach a file or two to that email. The
alternative of using Tools/Mail merge is not the answer - that simply seems
to produce a Word document that gets individually emailed to each selected
contact in the category, without the ability to attach files.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
