I'm trying to place a .wma (a windows media audio file)
on the web using FrontPage 2002. I followed help and
clicked on imported it In the FrontPage folders. In Preview mode, it works
great, but it's not loading on to the web. The rest of the website, including
the page with the inserted file, is publishing fine.
What am I missing? Thanks

Gary, if it is Frontpage 2003; you can add sound file as follows: open the
page you want the file added to/ select format / properties from toolbar. In
the general tab, you should be able to add background sound / browse where
sound file is located, etc. Possibly try uploading sound file itself from
your frontpage web to server making sure it is in fact on your remote site.
If Frontpage 2002, I honestly can't tell you how. Hope this helps.

Try it with a .wav file see if what you are doing will work with that.

thought so...I don't think .wma files will work without inserting the player...but sorry I don't mess much with sound on web sites so I'm not sure about alternatives.

| Thank you for reply. Yes it works fine with .wav
