adding attachments to email

When in word or excel I go to file - send to - mail recipient (as attachment) the email opens with outlook express and I want it to open in microsoft outlook. I know I need to change my default e-mail editor but where is thiis setting.

Within Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, Programs.
