Adding an inbox view pane to Calender

Is there a way to customize the Day/Month/Year view to include an inbox pad
view, in much the same way the taskpad view can be added to the above
Calender view. Could be a real time saver from clicking to different files.
 
Only in Outlook 2007 can you view the mail folders along with calendar. However, you cannot create an inbox message view with calendar.
