Hi

Is there a way to add a custom watermark to a presentation that shows up only when the presentation is printed
I use PowerPoint 2003 but distribute my presentation to people who have different PowerPoint versions and therefor I would like to use the "Package for CD" option and send to people

Thank
Marc

assuming most people use b/w printers to print presentations: YES; for color
printers I know none.

This is the workaround: In slide master insert a copyright notice,
watermark, etc. Change to b/w view ("View | Color/Grayscale"), click on
settings and adjust, so that you can see it in b/w and grayscale view but
not in "normal" color view.

This "watermark" can be removed by skilled users before printing, but most
users will not find it ;-)

Kind regards,
Ute

Hello,

PowerPoint doesn't provide the specific functionality that you are looking
for (all workarounds can be fairly easily circumvented).

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it's important that
PowerPoint provide this kind of functionality (without having to resort to
VBA or add-ins), don't forget to send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS,
please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).
