Hello OL Gurus!
I have a two-part question about OL 2003
I have never really used the Journal function of Outlook. I've always liked
to have the main contact screen up when I have a conversations with a client.
This way, I have all of the notes in the "Notes" section, and don't have to
bounce around from tab to tab.
When I have had some kind of communication with a client or prospect, I make
an entry like this:
(06-23-05) Asked a question about Oultook.
I'm trying to find some way to click a button that will the date and time in
there without my having to type it each time. Since I do this multiple times
a day, some sort of automation would do wonders at saving me a lot of time.
My second question is this. How can you go into the phone list view of a
screen and change multiple follow-up times? I can look at the screen and see
multiple clients that I'd like to follow up with on another day. The only
way that I know of to do change a follow-up time is to open each contact
individually. This is time consuming and not very efficient.
I appreciate any info you can offer.
Thanks!
-Marc
