Hi!

I am trying to make a powerpoint presentation with
pictures and putting a song in the background to play
with the pictures. Is there a way to do this that isn't
terribly involved? Then I am going to burn it to a CD.
Basically it will be a video of family pictures with
songs chosen to go with each group.

Thanks!
Pat

It's not too involved at all, Pat. Do you want one song
to play on each slide, or have a song play across several
slides? Also, where are you getting the music from - a
CD, a web site, etc.? Finally, when you burn the whole
thing to a CD for everyone, will they have PowerPoint
available or not?

Knowing these factors will make my instructions clearer
for you.

You can easily add music. Just copy your song to your
hard drive playlist. Go to Insert, Sound, from File and
navigate to the folder that your song is in. Powerpoint
will put a sound icon on the slide that you have inserted
it in and you can set how you want it to play
(continuously or stop after done). I have done alot of
this.
